WPForms
Beginner-friendly drag-and-drop form builder from Awesome Motive with a free Lite plugin, 2,100+ templates and tiered Pro plans for payments and CRMs.
Block-editor form builder from Brainstorm Force with AI form creation and free Stripe forms; paid plans add logic, multi-step and integrations.
SureForms is a form builder from Brainstorm Force, the company behind Astra and Spectra. Forms are built with native block-editor blocks, and an AI assistant can draft a complete form from a plain-language prompt without needing your own API key. Forms can be embedded anywhere or shared as standalone Instant Forms with their own URL.
The free plugin covers 16 standard blocks (text, email, phone, address, number, dropdown, multiple choice, checkbox, GDPR agreement and layout blocks), stored entries, email notifications, confirmation messages and redirects, form analytics, styling controls and four spam options: reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, Cloudflare Turnstile and honeypot. Stripe payment forms, including subscriptions, also work in the free version, but SureForms adds a 2.9% transaction fee on top of Stripe’s own fees until you upgrade.
The Solo, Team and Agency plans share the same feature set and differ only in site count. They unlock multi-step and conversational forms, conditional logic, calculators, quizzes, surveys and polls, advanced fields (file upload, signature, rating, slider, repeater, date/time, hidden), save and resume, partial entries, PDF generation, user registration and login forms, front-end post creation, PayPal, webhooks, Zapier and 30+ native integrations such as Google Sheets, Mailchimp, HubSpot and Airtable. The Stripe fee is removed.
SureForms is quick to learn, looks clean out of the box and keeps every paid feature in every plan, which makes buying simple. The AI builder and Instant Forms are useful time-savers. The free tier is narrower than it first appears: file uploads, conditional logic, multi-step and all third-party integrations are paid, and free Stripe payments carry an extra fee. There is no Square or Salesforce connector, and as a younger product its add-on ecosystem is smaller than older rivals’.
SureForms fits block-editor sites, especially Astra or Spectra users, that want modern-looking forms fast and are willing to buy a plan for logic and integrations.
Best for: Block-editor sites, particularly Astra/Spectra users, that want clean, quick-to-build forms with AI help.
SureForms is one of the easiest modern block-based form builders to pick up, and its single paid feature set keeps buying simple. The free version suits basic contact and Stripe forms, but most serious form work needs a paid plan.

Our estimate, see method below.
How we estimated this: WordPress.org shows 500K+ free installs, which could mean anything from 500K to 600K. The vendor says 500K+ sites, so we put the free count halfway between the middle of that range and the vendor figure, at about 530K. About 530K free installs x 8% (the usual share of free sites that also run the paid version when some key features are paid) gives 42K. Likely range: 21K to 84K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
