WPForms
Beginner-friendly drag-and-drop form builder from Awesome Motive with a free Lite plugin, 2,100+ templates and tiered Pro plans for payments and CRMs.
Drag-and-drop WordPress form builder from WPEverest with a free AI form builder; one Pro licence unlocks all add-ons, payments and integrations.
Everest Forms is a drag-and-drop WordPress form builder from WPEverest, the team behind ThemeGrill themes. The free plugin is aimed at contact and general-purpose forms. Everest Forms Pro is sold as a single all-inclusive licence: every plan includes every add-on, and plans differ only in site count and support level.
The free version offers unlimited forms and entries, 35+ fields including file and image uploads, form templates, import/export, popup display and an AI form builder that drafts a form from a plain-language description. Entries can be searched, sorted and exported to CSV. Spam protection is broad: Google reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, Cloudflare Turnstile, honeypot, Akismet, CleanTalk, a custom maths/question CAPTCHA, domain allow/deny lists and IP blocking, plus GDPR consent fields. A Style Customizer is included with a few presets, but the detailed design controls are Pro.
Pricing starts at $69/year for one site (discounted in the first year), and lifetime licences are also offered, which is relatively uncommon.
The all-in-one Pro licence makes pricing simple and good value, and the lifetime option suits people who dislike subscriptions. Page builder support (Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Oxygen, Beaver Builder, WPBakery) is broad. The trade-off is a fairly basic free version: conditional logic, multi-step forms and every payment gateway are paid. The user base and third-party ecosystem are also much smaller than those of the market leaders, and developer documentation is light.
Who should pick it: small businesses and freelancers who want a full-featured form builder with every add-on included at a modest price, or a lifetime licence.
Best for: Small businesses wanting every add-on in one affordable licence, including a lifetime option.
Everest Forms Pro is good value because a single licence unlocks every add-on, from payments and quizzes to CRM integrations. The free version is fairly basic beyond its AI builder and spam tools, so most serious use cases will need Pro.

Our estimate, see method below.
How we estimated this: WordPress.org shows 90K+ free installs, which could mean anything from 90K to 100K. The vendor says 100K+ sites, so we put the free count halfway between the middle of that range and the vendor figure, at about 98K. Website scans by WPoptic find the paid plugin (folder everest-forms-pro) on 1,846 live sites; they find the free version on 51,387 sites against about 98K WordPress.org installs, so each site found stands for about 1.9, giving 3.5K. About 98K free installs x 8% (the usual share of free sites that also run the paid version when some key features are paid) gives 7.8K. Combining these (weighted average) gives about 3.9K. Likely range: 2.5K to 5.9K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
