Product Addons for WooCommerce (Acowebs)
Acowebs' drag-and-drop product fields builder with free conditional fields; Pro adds pricing, formulas, lookup tables, uploads and swatches.
ThemeHigh's freemium product fields plugin: 20 free field types in sections with product/category rules; Pro adds pricing, formulas, uploads and swatches.
Extra Product Options for WooCommerce by ThemeHigh adds custom fields to WooCommerce product pages so shoppers can personalise what they buy. The free plugin is on WordPress.org with a 4.9/5 rating, and a premium version is sold on themehigh.com.
Fields are grouped into sections that you position around the add-to-cart button. Display rules decide where each section or field appears, based on products, categories and tags, so one section can cover a whole catalogue or a single product. The free version already offers about 20 field types: text, textarea, number, email, URL, telephone, password, hidden, select, radio, checkbox and checkbox group, switch, range slider, colour picker, date and time pickers, plus heading, paragraph and separator elements. Entered values can be shown or hidden in the cart, checkout and order pages.
The free version does not charge for options; pricing is a premium feature. Premium adds fixed, custom, percentage, character-count and custom-formula price types, a price table on the product page explaining the extra cost, and eight more field types including file upload, multi-select, image group, colour palette, label swatches, date and time range and product group. Display rules expand to user roles, other field values, dates, specific variations and quantity, and premium adds tab or accordion layouts, custom validators and editing options from the cart. Plans are priced by site count and billed yearly.
No prices can be attached to options without premium, so the free plugin is effectively an information-collection tool. Field-based conditional logic, variation rules and file uploads are also premium.
It is a good fit for stores that want a low-cost, well-supported options builder and are willing to pay for the premium tier once options need prices.
Best for: Budget-conscious stores that want a well-supported options builder and are happy to upgrade for pricing and formulas.
ThemeHigh offers one of the broader free field sets and a premium tier that covers formulas, swatches and uploads for a modest yearly fee. The free version cannot charge for options, so treat it as a trial of the builder rather than a complete add-ons solution.

Our estimate, see method below.
How we estimated this: About 35K free installs x 30% (the usual share of free sites that also run the paid version when many key features are paid, and store owners upgrade more often) gives 11K. The vendor figure (1M+) is more than 8 times the free installs, so it probably counts more than this plugin (other products or platforms) and we leave it out. Likely range: 5.5K to 22K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
