Extra Product Options for WooCommerce (ThemeHigh)
ThemeHigh's freemium product fields plugin: 20 free field types in sections with product/category rules; Pro adds pricing, formulas, uploads and swatches.
Acowebs' drag-and-drop product fields builder with free conditional fields; Pro adds pricing, formulas, lookup tables, uploads and swatches.
Product Addons for WooCommerce (also called WooCommerce Custom Product Addons, or WCPA) by Acowebs is a form-builder style plugin for adding custom fields to product pages. The free version is on WordPress.org, where it has a 4.9/5 rating from more than 450 reviews, and a Pro version is sold on acowebs.com with annual or lifetime licences.
You build a form with a drag-and-drop editor and assign it to individual products from the product screen, or category-wide, with the option to exclude or override it on specific products. The free builder covers text, textarea, number, email, URL, password, hidden, radio, checkbox, select, date and colour fields, separators and HTML headings/paragraphs, with a two-column grid. Unusually for a free tier, it also includes conditional fields that show or hide inputs based on other values. Submitted data is attached to the order and appears in the admin.
Pro adds pricing for every field: fixed, percentage of the base price, or a custom formula using input values, quantity and base price, along with spreadsheet-style lookup tables for measurement-based pricing. It adds file uploads (including drag-and-drop, AWS S3 and resumable large uploads), image selection and colour groups, multi-select, time pickers, a product field, range sliders, repeaters, accordions and multi-step layouts, 18 condition types, a price summary on the product page, editing fields from the cart, form import/export and dynamic SKUs.
No option in the free version can carry a price, and uploads and swatches are Pro-only. The plugin does not formally declare Cart/Checkout block compatibility, although the changelog shows display fixes for those blocks. Exact Pro prices for multi-site tiers were not visible on the product page.
It suits stores selling made-to-measure or highly configurable products that need formula or lookup-table pricing at a modest cost.
Best for: Stores selling made-to-measure or configurable products that need formula or lookup-table pricing on a modest budget.
Acowebs pairs a free tier with genuine conditional fields and a Pro tier strong on formulas, lookup tables and big file uploads. The lack of free pricing and unclear block-checkout declaration are the main caveats.

Our estimate, see method below.
How we estimated this: Website scans by WPoptic find the paid plugin (folder woo-custom-product-addons-pro) on 6,318 live sites; they find the free version on 8,487 sites against about 35K WordPress.org installs, so each site found stands for about 4.1, giving 26K. About 35K free installs x 12% (the usual share of free sites that also run the paid version when some key features are paid, and store owners upgrade more often) gives 4.2K. Combining these (weighted average) gives about 20K. The vendor claims 50K+ sites in total. Taking away about 35K free installs leaves 15K, and 80% of that is 12K. Vendor totals are loose, so we only move our figure part of the way toward it, from 20K to 17K. Likely range: 11K to 26K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
