Extra Product Options for WooCommerce (ThemeHigh)
ThemeHigh's freemium product fields plugin: 20 free field types in sections with product/category rules; Pro adds pricing, formulas, uploads and swatches.
Premium ThemeComplete product options builder, sold on CodeCanyon and direct, with math-formula and lookup-table pricing, swatches and global forms.
Extra Product Options & Add-Ons for WooCommerce by ThemeComplete (formerly TM Extra Product Options) is a long-running premium plugin for building product configurators. It has sold more than 36,000 copies on CodeCanyon since about 2014 and is now also sold directly by the developer on yearly licences. There is no free version.
Options are built in a visual drag-and-drop builder with sections and elements. You can build them per product or as Global Forms applied to all products, chosen categories or tags, or specific products, with priority ordering. Elements include checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, multi-select, text fields and textareas, image/colour/text swatches, date and time pickers, range sliders, colour pickers, file uploads and product elements. It can also replace WooCommerce’s variation dropdowns with swatches.
Prices can be fixed, a percentage, per character or per word, or a math formula with functions such as min, max, if, pow and lookup tables, so it handles made-to-measure and area-based pricing. A floating or inline final totals box updates as shoppers choose, and options can change weight and shipping.
The sheer number of settings makes the builder slower to learn than simpler add-on plugins. The CodeCanyon licence includes only six months of support. We found no explicit statement of compatibility with the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks in the changelog or docs, so test before relying on block checkout.
It suits stores that need a full product configurator with calculated prices and many field types, and are comfortable with a complex interface.
Best for: Stores building full product configurators that need formula or lookup-table pricing and many option types.
ThemeComplete's plugin is one of the most capable add-ons builders available, especially for calculated pricing and complex conditional forms. Its depth comes with complexity, and there is no documented support for block checkout, so it is best suited to classic-checkout stores with demanding requirements.
