Booknetic
Premium appointment booking plugin from FS Code with staff, locations, workflows and a large add-on store, sold on its own site and…
Straightforward appointment scheduler with unlimited booking calendars free, and paid editions for calendar sync, payments, SMS and team booking.
Simply Schedule Appointments (SSA), made by NSquared, is a scheduling plugin that feels closer to a Calendly-style tool than to a salon management system. You create appointment types with their own availability rules, embed a booking calendar, and clients pick a slot in their own time zone.
The free Basic edition already allows unlimited appointment types and booking calendars, customisable notifications, blackout dates, minimum notice and per-day limits, automatic time-zone detection, and links that let clients edit, reschedule or cancel. It ships with blocks and modules for Gutenberg, Elementor, Beaver Builder and Divi.
The Plus edition adds Google Calendar sync, custom booking form fields, Zoom and Google Meet, classes and group events with capacity, time-triggered reminders, and Gravity Forms, Formidable and MemberPress integrations. Professional adds Stripe and PayPal payments, Twilio SMS, conversion tracking, webhooks for Zapier or Make, and alternative booking flows. Business adds team scheduling, where staff can log in and manage their own appointments, plus resource booking for rooms and equipment.
SSA is not aimed at salons or multi-branch businesses. There are no deposits, coupons, packages, recurring appointment series or WooCommerce checkout, and no built-in revenue reports. Team scheduling needs the most expensive edition, and Outlook or Apple calendars connect only via one-way ICS feeds.
It is a good pick for consultants, coaches, tutors and small teams who want a clean, dependable scheduler inside WordPress rather than a full business management suite.
Best for: Consultants, coaches and small teams who want an easy, Calendly-style scheduler inside WordPress.
SSA is one of the easiest booking plugins to get running, and its free edition is genuinely usable for a solo professional. It lacks commerce features such as deposits, coupons and packages, and team booking is expensive, so service businesses with staff and upsells should look at Amelia, Bookly or LatePoint.
