Flexible Shipping
Table rate shipping for WooCommerce by Octolize: free weight and cart-total rules, PRO adds class, product, quantity, role and time conditions.
Multi-carrier shipping software that imports WooCommerce orders so you can compare discounted rates, buy labels, handle customs and returns, and sync tracking.
Shippo is a hosted shipping platform used by online sellers across many store systems. For WooCommerce it works as a connected service rather than a plugin: you link your store from the Stores tab in the Shippo web app, and paid orders are imported automatically into Shippo’s order list. From there you compare carrier rates, buy and print labels, and Shippo writes the fulfilment status and tracking number back to the WooCommerce order.
Shippo gives access to more than 40 carriers, including USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL Express, with pre-negotiated discounts, and you can also connect your own carrier accounts. The free Starter plan covers up to 30 labels a month for one user; the Pro plan starts at $17 a month (or $205 a year) with label tiers up to 10,000 a month, more seats and branded tracking. Premier is quoted by sales. Postage is paid per label on every plan.
Shippo does not control what shoppers pay for shipping in your WooCommerce checkout. Its help centre says checkout rates must be set up in WooCommerce itself (flat rates or zones), and its own rates-at-checkout feature is only offered for Wix. If you want live Shippo rates in the cart you need a third-party plugin such as OneTeamSoftware’s Shippo connector. Labels are bought in the Shippo web app, not inside the WordPress admin, and tracking numbers land in WooCommerce order notes because WooCommerce has no dedicated tracking field. The Starter plan adds a 5 cent fee per label when you use your own carrier account.
Who should pick it: US-focused stores that want cheap labels, customs paperwork and returns handled outside WordPress, and merchants who sell on several channels. Stores that mainly need clever checkout rate rules should pair it with a rate plugin or choose a WordPress-native tool.
Best for: Stores that want discounted multi-carrier labels, customs paperwork and returns handled in an external shipping dashboard.
Shippo is a strong fulfilment tool for WooCommerce sellers, especially in the US, and its free plan makes it easy to try. It does nothing for checkout rate rules, so most stores will still need WooCommerce zones or a rate plugin alongside it.

How we estimated this: No WooCommerce-specific figure. Assumed roughly 1-2% of 4.6M+ businesses are active WooCommerce connections (~50K-90K) and 10-15% of those pay for Pro or Premier, giving about 5K-10K. Likely range: 3.5K to 14K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
