GiveWP
Long-running WordPress donation plugin with campaigns, a visual form builder, donor dashboard and donor wall; paid plans add recurring, P2P and tributes.
Free, open-source plugin that turns WooCommerce into a donation platform with goals, donor wall, fee recovery and 100+ gateways, with no platform fee.
Donation Platform for WooCommerce (WordPress.org slug wc-donation-platform) is a free, open-source plugin by Jonas Höbenreich that turns WooCommerce into a donation and fundraising system. Each fundraising project is a WooCommerce product marked as a donation project. The plugin replaces the usual add-to-cart flow with a donation form that you place with a shortcode or block, on the product page or anywhere else, with an optional popup mode.
You pick from several form styles, set suggested amounts plus an “other” field, minimum and maximum limits, and a fundraising goal with an end date. Shortcodes add a progress bar, an order counter and a donor leaderboard (donor wall) with an anonymous option. Donors can tick a box to cover processing fees, configured as a fixed plus percentage cost per payment method, and version 1.5 adds round-up upsells at checkout. Because payment runs through WooCommerce checkout, the 100+ WooCommerce gateways work, including Stripe, PayPal, SEPA direct debit, bank transfer and express wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
There is no paid version and no platform fee; a Pro edition is only on a waitlist. Some features rely on other plugins. Recurring donations need the free Subscriptions for WooCommerce or the paid WooCommerce Subscriptions. PDF tax receipts and thank-you certificates need the free WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips. Gift Aid is a checkbox you add with a checkout field editor. Donor records, reports, exports, webhooks and CRM connections come from WooCommerce and its ecosystem.
It suits charities, clubs and creators who already use or are happy to run WooCommerce and want donation forms without licence costs. If you don’t want WooCommerce, or need peer-to-peer and tribute giving, a dedicated donation plugin is a better match.
Best for: Charities and creators on WooCommerce who want free donation forms, goals and a donor wall without licence or platform fees.
A capable, genuinely free donation layer for WooCommerce with fee recovery, goals and a donor wall, backed by unusually thorough documentation. You give up native recurring giving, receipts and tribute options, which come via other plugins or not at all.
