WooCommerce
Free, open-source WordPress store plugin from Automattic for physical and digital products, extended with free and paid extensions from the Woo Marketplace.
Payment and donation form builder from WPManageNinja. Free includes Stripe with no added fees; Pro adds 14 gateways, subscriptions, coupons and tax.
Paymattic, formerly WPPayForm, is a payment and donation form plugin from WPManageNinja, the team behind Fluent Forms and FluentCRM. Like other payment-form tools, it skips the catalogue and cart. You build a form in a block-style editor, add payment item fields (one item, a choice of items or several items with quantities), and take the payment at submission. Submissions and payment records are stored in WordPress.
The free plugin includes Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH and more in 135+ currencies) and offline payments. It also has 20+ form fields, conditional fields, donation progress bars, user registration, PDF invoices through Fluent PDF, reCAPTCHA, Turnstile and honeypot, and integrations with FluentCRM, Mailchimp, Slack and Zapier. Paymattic adds no transaction fee in either version. Pro adds PayPal, Square, Authorize.net, Mollie, Razorpay, Paystack and other gateways (14 in all). It also adds subscriptions and recurring donations, coupons, custom tax percentages, a donor currency switcher, a customer and donor dashboard, a donor leaderboard, 70+ templates, file uploads, webhooks, Google Sheets and SMS integrations, and an advanced revenue dashboard.
Paymattic is not a store. It has no shipping rates, stock tracking, digital-download delivery, abandoned-cart emails or order bumps. Multiple items are simple priced lists rather than real variants. Free gateways are limited to Stripe and offline payments, and subscriptions need Pro.
Who should pick it: non-profits, clubs, event organisers and service businesses that need payment or donation forms, including recurring ones, with a choice of gateways. Merchants selling a real product catalogue should use a full eCommerce plugin.
Best for: Non-profits, clubs and service businesses that need fee-free payment or donation forms with several gateways and recurring options.
Paymattic is a well-rounded payment and donation form builder, and its fee-free Stripe in the free version is a real advantage over some rivals. Pro is reasonably priced, especially as a lifetime licence. It is not built to run a shop with stock, shipping or downloads.
What Paymattic highlights on its WordPress.org page and its own website, split by version.

Likely range: 210 to 840. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
