Discount Rules for WooCommerce
Rule-based WooCommerce dynamic pricing from Flycart: bulk tiers, cart and BOGO deals, role and purchase-history discounts; free core plus PRO upgrade.
Long-running premium WooCommerce Marketplace extension for bulk, role, category and order-total pricing rules, with simple special offers.
Dynamic Pricing is one of the oldest pricing extensions on the official WooCommerce Marketplace, developed by Element Stark and sold through WooCommerce.com. It adjusts prices automatically through seven rule modes rather than coupons, and it has no free version.
On each product you can add bulk rules (quantity ranges with a percentage, amount or fixed price per item) and special offer rules (buy a quantity, receive a quantity at a discount, optionally repeating), limited to everyone or to specific roles. Store-wide modes add simple role pricing, simple category pricing, advanced category rules that can count items in one category and discount another, and order-total pricing that gives a percentage off once the cart or a category reaches a set amount. Quantities can be counted per product, per variation, per cart line or per category.
The documentation is frank that the extension does not tell shoppers about deals: there are no pricing tables, banners or savings messages, and advanced rules are not visible on product or catalogue pages because they depend on the cart. Order-total rules only support percentage discounts, there are no free shipping, coupon-activated, purchase-history or usage-limit rules, and there are no reports. Special offers always discount the cheapest item, and coupons stack on top of dynamic prices with no built-in control. Version 3.6.0 also changed how some Special Offer rules calculate prices, so existing stores were advised to review them. The Marketplace rating (3.3 from 36 reviews) is lower than most rivals.
It suits stores that want straightforward bulk, role and category pricing from the official marketplace, with WooCommerce.com billing and its 30-day refund policy, and that are happy to add their own messaging.
Best for: Stores that want simple bulk, role and category pricing from the official WooCommerce Marketplace.
Dynamic Pricing handles core bulk, role and category pricing reliably and is still maintained, but it has fallen behind rivals on display tools, conditions and reporting. Most stores will get more for the money from a modern rule-based plugin unless they specifically want an official Marketplace extension.
