Overview
Print Invoice & Delivery Notes for WooCommerce is a free plugin maintained by Tyche Softwares. It began as a print-only tool for invoices and delivery notes and now generates five PDF document types from WooCommerce orders: invoices, delivery notes, receipts, credit notes and packing slips. PDFs are rendered with Dompdf, so everything runs on your own server without an external service.
How it works
Print buttons are added to the Orders list and the Edit Order screen, and bulk actions print many orders at once; since version 7.1.2 bulk printing builds a merged PDF in the background to avoid timeouts. Documents can be attached as PDFs to WooCommerce emails based on order status, and customers can download them from My Account > Orders or from links in their emails. Stored PDFs can be set to expire after a period.
There are two built-in layouts with a live preview, plus controls for logo, fonts, colours, watermark, page zoom and which order details, addresses, notes or table rows appear. Invoice numbers can be sequential with a prefix and suffix and an optional yearly reset. Invoices show WooCommerce tax data such as VAT percentages and tax amounts, and refunded amounts are listed. Developers get hooks and filters for templates, numbering and order data, and a dedicated filter can add extra order fields.
Free vs paid
There is no Pro edition of this plugin listed on WordPress.org; every feature described is free. Tyche sells other WooCommerce plugins, and integrations exist for some of them, such as delivery dates and deposits.
