Overview
Advanced Gift Cards is a paid plugin from the Advanced Coupons team. It adds simple and variable Gift Card product types to WooCommerce, with randomised codes, recipient emails, personal messages, delivery dates and a set of built-in card designs. How redemption works
This plugin takes a different approach from most gift card tools. A gift card is not applied as a coupon to an order. Instead, the customer redeems the code, from a Store Credits tab in My Account or from a ‘Redeem a gift card?’ link on checkout, and the value becomes store credit on their account. That store credit system lives in the free Advanced Coupons plugin, which also lets admins grant or deduct credit, refund orders to store credit and let customers pay with credit at checkout. Any unused amount stays as credit for later orders. The trade-off is that the recipient must sign in or create an account to redeem a card.

Shoppers can pick a fixed value or, from version 1.4.3, enter their own amount within limits you set. Admins get a gift card dashboard to edit value, status, expiry and recipient, resend emails and see sales and redemption figures, plus CSV import for bulk codes.
