Filter Everything
Filter plugin for WooCommerce products and any post type, with page-builder widgets, chips and swatches; PRO adds SEO filter pages and a…
Search and filter builder for posts, custom fields and WooCommerce products, with a free WP.org edition and a Pro version adding AJAX, ranges and an indexer.
Search & Filter is a search form and faceted filter builder by Code Amp (developer Ross Morsali), sold at searchandfilter.com for about ten years. It is a general-purpose tool rather than a WooCommerce-only plugin: queries can filter posts, custom post types and WooCommerce products and variations. A free plugin is on WordPress.org (50,000+ installs), but that listing is the older 1.x branch with dropdown, checkbox, radio and multi-select fields for taxonomies, post types and dates, configured mainly through shortcodes. The current version 3 platform and its Pro edition are downloaded from the vendor’s site.
Version 3 is built around queries and fields. You create a query (for example with location set to WooCommerce Shop, the products shortcode or a page builder loop), then add Search, Choice, Range, Advanced and Control fields as blocks, shortcodes or builder widgets. Choice fields offer select, combobox, checkbox, radio and button groups. Pro adds range sliders, autocomplete search, current selection, Load More, AJAX live results, faceted counts and a styles editor.
For stores, Pro filters categories, tags, brands, attributes, stock status (including custom statuses) and on-sale products, and the indexer limits results to product and variation combinations that actually exist. Integrations cover Elementor, Beaver Builder, GenerateBlocks, Bricks, Divi, WPBakery, ACF (including repeaters), WPML, Polylang and Relevanssi.
Pro costs $49 a year for one site, $99 for three and $219 for unlimited sites, with a 30-day refund. It suits developers and content-heavy sites that filter custom fields and post types as well as products.
Best for: Developers and content-rich sites that need to filter custom fields and post types as well as WooCommerce products.
Search & Filter Pro is a flexible, developer-friendly query and filter builder with strong ACF and page builder support at a low price. Stores wanting swatches, rating filters, mobile panels or SEO landing pages will find WooCommerce-focused plugins more complete.

Our estimate, see method below.
How we estimated this: Website scans by WPoptic find the paid plugin (folder search-filter-pro) on 37,857 live sites; they find the free version on 26,453 sites against about 45K WordPress.org installs, so each site found stands for about 1.7, giving 64K. About 45K free installs x 30% (the usual share of free sites that also run the paid version when many key features are paid, and store owners upgrade more often) gives 14K. Combining these (weighted average) gives about 52K. The vendor claims 60K+ sites in total. Taking away about 45K free installs leaves 15K, and 80% of that is 12K. Vendor totals are loose, so we only move our figure part of the way toward it, from 52K to 42K. Likely range: 27K to 63K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
