The Events Calendar
Widely used WordPress events calendar with venues, organisers and month/list/day views, plus paid tiers for recurring events, ticketing and seating.
Event management and ticketing plugin from Themewinter with WooCommerce tickets, Zoom, speakers and schedules free, plus Pro seat maps and QR check-in.
Eventin is an event management, registration and ticketing plugin from Themewinter (published on WordPress.org under Arraytics). It aims at conferences, workshops, webinars and meetups, so beyond a calendar it handles speakers, organisers, multi-track schedules, ticket variations and attendee records from a modern React-based dashboard.
The free plugin is broad. It includes recurring events (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or custom dates), event categories and tags, monthly/weekly/daily calendar and list displays, keyword/date/category search, around 20 Gutenberg blocks and Elementor widgets, speaker and organiser profiles, schedules, Zoom meetings, add-to-calendar links, confirmation and reminder emails with a basic automation builder, event schema and ticket sales through WooCommerce with coupons. A free Migration Tool extension imports events from The Events Calendar, Facebook and Eventbrite.
Every paid plan has the full Pro feature set; plans differ only in site count, with annual and lifetime options. Strengths are the conference-oriented toolset, generous WooCommerce ticketing for free and lifetime pricing. On the downside, free-versus-Pro labelling is inconsistent between the readme, docs and pricing page, so test before relying on a feature. Native payment gateways, RSVP and check-in are paid, and the plugin is heavier than a simple calendar.
Choose Eventin for multi-speaker conferences, workshops and hybrid events where you want schedules, speakers and ticketing in one plugin, especially if you already run WooCommerce.
Best for: Conference, workshop and webinar organisers who want speakers, schedules and WooCommerce ticketing in one plugin.
Eventin gives you more for free than most event plugins, especially WooCommerce ticketing, speakers and schedules. Pro is good value with all features in every plan and lifetime options, but expect to pay for native gateways, RSVP and check-in, and check the docs carefully because free/Pro labels are not always consistent.

Our estimate, see method below.
How we estimated this: WordPress.org shows 10K+ free installs, which could mean anything from 10K to 20K. The vendor says 17.5K+ sites, so we put the free count halfway between the middle of that range and the vendor figure, at about 16K. Website scans by WPoptic find the paid plugin (folder eventin-pro) on 1,439 live sites; they find the free version on 4,520 sites against about 16K WordPress.org installs, so each site found stands for about 3.6, giving 5.2K. About 16K free installs x 12% (the usual share of free sites that also run the paid version when some key features are paid, and store owners upgrade more often) gives 2K. Combining these (weighted average) gives about 4.5K. Likely range: 2.9K to 6.8K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
