Coupon Affiliates
WooCommerce-only affiliate plugin that ties each affiliate to a coupon code, with referral links, a front-end dashboard and a PRO tier for…
Free WordPress affiliate plugin with click tracking, creatives, PayPal payout files and many ecommerce/membership integrations, plus paid add-ons.
Affiliates Manager is a long-running free affiliate program plugin on WordPress.org, maintained by wp.insider. The core plugin is fully free; extra capabilities come from a catalogue of individually priced add-ons sold on wpaffiliatemanager.com, alongside a set of free integration add-ons.
Affiliates register through a customisable form (with custom fields) and are approved automatically or manually. Each gets a front-end portal with stats, profile and payment details, a link generator and access to your banners and text links. Tracking is cookie-based with a configurable duration, and clicks and ad impressions are logged. Commissions can be flat or percentage-based, overridden per affiliate, and adjusted by hand.
The integration list is unusually broad for a free plugin: WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, LifterLMS, GiveWP, Stripe Payments, WP eStore, Simple Membership and others, some via free or paid add-ons.
There are no multi-level, tiered or lifetime commissions, links use a numeric ID rather than vanity slugs, and payouts are file-based rather than sent directly. Coupons must be created and linked manually. The admin interface feels dated, and WooCommerce HPOS and block checkout compatibility is not documented.
Choose it if you want a free, no-frills affiliate system that plugs into many ecommerce and membership plugins, and only need to buy one or two inexpensive add-ons.
Best for: Budget-conscious sites that need a simple free affiliate program connected to WooCommerce or a membership plugin.
Affiliates Manager covers the fundamentals well for free and connects to an impressive list of platforms. It lacks advanced commission structures and modern polish, so growing WooCommerce programs will likely outgrow it, but it is a low-cost starting point.

Our estimate, see method below.
How we estimated this: About 8.5K free installs x 6% (the usual share of free sites that also run the paid version when most features are free, and store owners upgrade more often) gives 510. Likely range: 260 to 1K. This counts sites running the paid version, including sites whose licence has lapsed. Estimates are rough and based on public figures as of 14 Oct 2026.
